The waste management workforce is one of the most important stakeholders who have very important role to play in successful implementation of waste management program. And hence, we conducted the training of workforce of RWA 15 A and Morna village. The workforce was informed of their crucial role in the process of waste management. They were educated about the different types of wastes and their values, how they can capitalize on different type of waste and make profit out of it. The workforce was also told about the importance of the communication skills in their work, how to talk and behave with the households and customers for whom they work for during collection of waste. The role play was enacted by the workforce themselves to demonstrate on communication skills during their work.The most important thing in their work is the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during their work. Trainer emphasized on its regular, advantage and disadvantage of using PPEs and how this can affect their health and work.
